There are two ways of transitioning to dentures. Immediate dentures (placed immediately into your mouth after the remaining natural teeth are removed) and delayed dentures (manufactured 4 – 6 months after the teeth have been removed).

In the majority of cases we recommend immediate dentures as this maintains the ability to know where your jaw sits naturally, helps you learn to eat with dentures, and improves your look and confidence straight away. We also know some great dentists we can refer you to for the extractions.
